Snowboarder in fresh powder above the fjord

Autumn through Spring · August — April

Surf the Arctic

The search — for cold, empty lineups only reachable by boat.

6 nights · 7 days · From Tromsø · 6–8 guests · Aug–Apr

High-performance surfing in remote Arctic fjords — unknown point breaks and reef setups reachable only by boat, often under the glow of the aurora.

How the week builds

A ladder, not a checklist.

The week follows the swell, not a schedule. Between sessions, the boat is the warm centre of everything else.

  1. Day 01

    Arrive

Board, load boards, and sail toward the forecast.

  2. Day 02

    First waves

Warm up on a friendly reef while the crew reads the swell for the week ahead.

  3. Day 03

    Deeper

Push north to less-surfed setups. Fewer people, colder water, more reward.

  4. Day 04

    Between swells

Fishing, hiking, and beach bonfires while the sea rebuilds itself.

  5. Day 05

    The window

When the forecast peaks, we're already there. Long sessions, aurora after dark.

  6. Day 06

    Recover

Sauna, cold plunge, food — the body catches up to the week.

  7. Day 07

    Return

An unhurried sail back to Tromsø, boards salted, minds quiet.

Weather writes the final draft. The route stays responsive to conditions, ice and the aurora forecast — the experiences are fixed, the exact order is not.

Signature moments

What the week is made of.

Surfer in Arctic conditions

Empty lineups

Reef and point setups reachable only by boat — often just the group and the sea.

Aurora over a peak

Aurora after dark

Paddle in at dusk, sauna, and watch the sky do the rest.

Catamaran beneath peaks

Between swells

Fishing, hiking and beach bonfires with the day's catch.

Boat exterior

Warm gear, warm boat

Top-tier cold-water kit and an onboard sauna keep you warm between sessions.

Made for mixed groups

Every day has a fuller version and a gentler one.

Come as you are. Every session has room for stronger and gentler surfers, and the boat is always the warm option. No one is left out — the crew reads the group every morning to shape the day around it.

Catamaran anchored in an Arctic fjord

The vessel as basecamp

A heated, mobile centre to the wild.

Home for the week is a 2024 Lagoon 51 catamaran — heated, comfortable, and quietly capable. It carries you to breaks with no road in, then becomes the warm centre you return to after every session.
